First I would like to start out by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me!! I am officially 6 months old now. WoooHoooo!!! To all of you who haven't heard I have been eating solid foods for a little over 3 weeks now. I am so good at eating that my mommy calls me a champ. In fact, I got to have Turkey and Sweet potatoes for thanksgiving just like the adults. Although mine was in puree form it was still glorious!!! I have been sitting up really well over the past couple of weeks. I still need supervision while doing it but I'm not as locked down as I once was. It is fun sitting up. It gives me a whole new perspective of the world. Note to Mommy and Daddy FYI: Unless you want me to redecorate our carpet with that days meal I wouldn't sit me up right after eating... In the last few weeks I have also really found my voice and I talk every chance I get. At any point in the day you can hear me using my massive vocabulary of Blah, Rah, Da, Ma, Ga. Ba. I have so much to say, I just wish everyone I am talking to could understand me!!! Not only do I still LOVE to squeal and giggle, I really enjoy screaming at the top of my lungs! It is a happy scream, but it is funny to watch the look of concern on my mom's face when I turn bright red and start coughing because I screamed so hard. She is such a worry wart! Boy am I going to have fun making her nervous! I got to see my friend Mia for the first time over the thanksgiving weekend. It was really great to see her in person. Even though I am twice her age we still have a lot in common. We both still wear diapers and occasionally spit up. It was great to go to the beach with her and to have her as company in the back seat with me while our parents were driving around town. It was also great to have someone to share my toys with. My heart hurt a little when she left but I know I will see her again soon so I am trying not to be too sad. Well keep an eye on my latest pics which mommy uploads all the time. Happy Holidays and have a Happy New year. Love ya lots, Ty

I had a great first thanksgiving. here are some things that I am thankful for: I am thankful for my family I am thankful for finally getting something other than breastmilk to eat I am very thankful that I got to see my friend Mia over thanksgiving I am thankful for my health I am thankful that I am down to pooping once a day I am thankful to all my friends who sign the guestbook (especially my friend Melissa) Most importantly, I am thankful for all the love I receive from all of you. Thanks for making my first 6 months great!! Oh wait, my Mommy said she has something she wants to say she is thankful for............... While I have always been thankful for the wonderful life I have, this thanksgiving really held a special meaning for me. After waiting so long for Tyler to come into our lives I feel so blessed that he is here. Not only have I been blessed with a beautiful baby boy, I am fortunate enough to be married to a man that is a great husband and just the best father ever! We are such a happy family and life just couldn't get any better. Each and every day is a blessing and I am so thankful for the friends and family that fill our lives!!!

Well I did it!!!! I had solid foods for the first time ever! Mommy and daddy fed me cereal for the last week and today they gave me carrots. The cereal was kinda bland and boring but the carrots were delicious! I ate up the first couple of bites like no ones business but then the carrots started biting back! Mommy and daddy thought that was soo funny. That's okay, wait until they see the new "colorful" surprise I will have waiting for them in my diaper We'll see who gets the last laugh.... hahahaahahaha. Smell ya later, Ty

I have been learning all sorts of new things lately. I can sit up somewhat by myself. I have learned how to roll over and sleep on my stomach (I have been doing this for a while now). It drives mommy crazy but I think it's more comfortable. I can't get enough of my feet right now. I have to have them at all times. This is an exciting weekend for me. I get to try solid foods for the first time ever. For those of you who don't know I have been eating the same thing every day for over 5 months!!! I mean I like breast milk and all but jiminy christmas, enough is enough! I am sure it will be a well documented event so stay tuned for the pics and maybe even a video clip. Talk to ya later,

Trick or treat!! Well, the trick was on Mommy and Daddy. To get ready for my first Halloween outing I decided not to take a nap ALL afternoon and well into the evening. When it was time to put on my costume I was quite the cranky little turtle. Plus, I wasn't very fond of having something tied to my head. Mom and Dad managed to snap a few pictures of me in between crying. Then at Grandma's house she showed me how to play the slot machine and that made me quite happy.............for a few minutes. When mom and dad were walking me through my grandparents neighborhood I saw a tear in my mom's eye. I think she was happy because it was our first real holiday together as a family. Daddy thinks it was just hormones...

Hey everyone, As some of you may know I turned 4 months old on Wednesday!!!! Woohooo, I will be driving before you know it. My parents decided as a celebration they would treat me to another Doctor’s visit where I would get four more shots to in my legs (thanks guys). I heard Daddy say that the anticipation of getting the shots is actually worse then the shots themselves. First of all, I don’t even know what “anticipation” means or if I am even capable of having it. Secondly, that’s easy for him to say he was hiding in the corner while the nice nurse lady was jabbing me with sharp objects!!! It wasn’t so bad though. I only cried for a second and then I was fine. Afterwards my daddy took me to the greatest place I have ever seen. A place where he said will some day make a man out of me. It was huge, it was orange, it was the HOME DEPOT!!! We only needed some light bulbs yet we were there for over an hour. It was glorious!! So since I last checked in I have added some moves to my repertoire. As many of you know I can roll over now (although, it’s not that fun so I haven’t really done it since), I can squeal like nobody’s business and I can make raspberry noises with my mouth. I especially like making raspberry noises with nana when she is watching me during the week. Well that’s all for now. The next time I write it will probably be Halloween. Can’t wait to see what mommy and daddy are going dress me up as. Love ya,

WHAT THE HECK IS WITH THE PINK!!! Now that I have your attention...:) For the next week or so I am dedicating my site to my new best friend (and possible future girlfriend) Mia Bella Trifilette-Simons. She was born on Friday August 25th, weighed 7lbs 8.6oz and was 21 inches long. Her mommy and daddy are so excited to have her. They are home from the hospital and all is well. Here is a pic of her on the front page. I have added some more pictures of her with her mommy and daddy under the photos section. You should see her she is so cute!!! I can't wait until I get to see her in person.

Hey Everyone, Sorry everyone. I have been so busy lately with feedings, naps, Dr's appointments and play time that I haven't had time to update my blog. Well a couple of things have happened since I updated you last. I went in for my two month checkup and found out that I almost doubled my birth weight. I guess what they say about breast milk is true. "A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips"... Just kidding. Anyway, my Doctor was happy about the weight gain and my mommy and daddy seemed very proud of me. Then something bad happened. This nurse came up and started flirting with me (that's not the bad part). She was making all sorts of cooing noises and funny faces to really get my attention. Just as I flashed her with my cutest smile she stuck me in the leg 4 times with some sharp objects called needles. Apparently they are vaccines to keep me healthy. I tried to pretend like it didn't bother me at first but I lost my composure and started crying. I guess they hurt mommy too because when I looked over at her she was crying as well. Don't worry though, I'm one tough cookie. I shook it off and was fine for the rest of the day. When we got home from the Dr's appointment I realized that I could make these cool noises with my mouth. I can make coos, ooos and ahhs sounds now. It is really cool. My mommy and daddy like it too. Every time I start making sounds they get real excited and start filming me. Of course I stop the noise making when they start recording me. That's my little way of getting them back for letting the lady stick me. That's all for now. Check out my new pics and fun facts while you are here. Talk to ya later, Love, Tyler
