This time last year (8:55pm)………….

As long as I can remember on the eve of my birthday my mom would say, this time 32 years ago (31 years, 30 years, well you get the picture) I had striped bass for dinner. It has always struck me as funny that she could remember that night with such detail all these years later. Now, here I am starting my own “This time last year” story.

This time last year I had just finished a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (another gourmet dinner in the Ferrazano household), and had settled on the couch to watch War of the Worlds.  Earlier that day I decided that this would be my last day of work before starting maternity leave. My theory was, I would most likely have a few days of some much needed R & R, and then hopefully sometime in the next week Tyler would grace us with his presence. Boy did he have different plans for us.

This time last year I hadn’t even had my first contraction yet and was clueless that in a matter of 13 hours the most wonderful being would enter my life. Oh yeah, I was also clueless about how painful contractions actually were!

This time last year I had no idea the being a mom would be the best thing that has ever happened to me (except for marrying Jamie of course) and that my purpose in life would forever be changed.

To our precious baby boy…………Happy First Birthday! You have made your Dad and me so very happy and this has truly been the best year of our lives. We can’t wait to see what else is in store. Please be kind to us when you hit the terrible two’s!!! All our love, Mom and Dad

Pictures from the birthday weekend will be added after our trip to the zoo tomorrow!

Love you all, and thanks for sharing this most wonderful year with us!

Thanks to all of you who voted. I guess it is safe to say I am officially walking now!!!! In fact, since my last video post I have really been working on my skills. I can walk and turn, walk and drink, and walk and clap. Woohoo!!

Some other great news that I am very excited about is I am officially getting my first tooth. After 9 nearly months of my mommy and daddy blaming every single ailment I have ever had on teething they can finally move on to something else. I am very excited because as some of you may know I turn 1 in a couple of weeks and I didn't want to be the only one at my party with no teeth.

So I have my first tooth, I am officially walking and I am turning one soon. I'm not sure what's left as far as milestones are concerned. I guess the next ones will be being able to vote when I'm 18, lower car insurance at 25 and then retirement at 65. Boy, where does the time go... Well that's all for now. Check out my new pics when you get a chance. Adios,

Look out world, I am about to go vertical!!! So far I can take about 2 or 3 steps before tumbling to the ground. Personally I consider that walking, but I see that my parents still have that poll on my website so I guess 2 steps doesn't count for walking in their book! I'll show them.

My new favorite thing to do is cruise at tops speeds around our living room ottoman. When my dad crawls behind me to chase me I scream and squeal at the top of my lungs. It is the most fun game ever!

Mom and Dad have been trying to get me to feed myself with small bites of cut up food, but I don't want anything to do with it. Sure, I will eat it, but I prefer to be hand fed thank you! I don't want to get anything yucky on my hands.

Well, that's it for now. Mom and Dad added a bunch of new pictures so check them out! Love you guys!!!

Time sure does fly when you're having fun! Can you believe in just two short months I will be ONE YEAR OLD. I am getting to be such a big boy. I am always on the go, crawling at the speed of light. I like to pull my self up to a standing postion on everything I can (the wall, the mirror, the table, the DOG). I have been practicing my balancing skills too. I like to let go while I hold onto things to see how long I can stay on my feet. I am getting better day by day.  I find amusment in just about everything, and at any given time you will hear me chuckling. My mom and dad have been trying to teach my sign language. I am finally starting to catch on and can do the sign for "milk" and "more". Mom and Dad say that me learning to sign will help to cut down on any future tantrums I may have. Good luck with that one guys----the terrible two's will be here before you know it! I still don't have any teeth-Gee, I hope I won't have to eat baby food mush too much longer.........come on teeth!

Well, that's it for now. Be sure to check on my newest pictures. You will see lots of pictures with my new favorite toy.................the curtains!!!

Hey Everyone,

First I would like to say thanks to the 64% of you who thought I would crawl "any day now". I am proud to report that I have been on the move since January 28th. It is so much fun getting from room to room all by myself that I can't help but laugh the whole time I am doing it.

I have actually added a lot of tricks to me repertoire. I have been pulling up to a standing position on everything I can (standing in the crib is the most fun!!). For a couple of days I had everyone convinced I was a genius. When mommy, daddy or nana would say where is the light I would hold my hand up over my head, look at the light and say "te". After a couple of days they decided to test me on this so they would say "where is the light" when there was no light and I would point my hand up look at the ceiling and say "te". Then they asked where is mommy and I would point up in the air and say "te". So much for the genius label... Laughing

In my latest swimming lesson I was dunked under water. It was really scary for me and my mommy. After one or two dunks we got the hang of it and it ended up being really fun (for me anyways).

Sorry it has been so long since my last update. I have added a lot of pictures and some video of me crawling around. Check it out!

Hi everyone, welcome to my website! Just hangin' here with my best pal Bailey. I had my second swimming lesson today. It's really fun splashing around in the water. Daddy even let me take a few drinks of it. It doesn't taste as good as it looks! I must say that I got a little nervous at the end of my class today. I heard the teacher say something about us getting dunked under water next week. At first I thought, wooooohooooooooo, sounds like fun. But then I turned and saw the look of fear on my mom's face, so now I am not so sure!

See you all later! Love ya lots......................Tyler

WOW!! what a great couple of weeks I have had. My Mommy and Daddy have been off from work for Christmas break so we got to spend all of our time together. We had so much fun. We went to the Florida Aquarium where I saw a whole bunch of fish. One fish was sooo big it could eat me up with just one bite!! Then we went to the Lowry Park Zoo where I was literally inches from the biggest giraffe I have ever seen!! Well except for I didn't see it... Apparently I was too enthralled with a fence pole to even notice the gigantic beast which was so close it could lick the top of my head. Daddy had a great idea to boost me up on to his shoulders so I was guaranteed to spot him. What daddy doesn't know is that I like to inspect the top of his head for bald spots so I still didn't notice. Oh well, at least we have pictures...Smile

I am still not crawling, but that doesn't stop me from getting to where I need to go. I just barrel roll and scooch to my destination. My new favorite thing is to roll underneath the coffee table or my crib. There is really nothing to see under there, but it still cracks me up!

Well I hade a great christmas and received a lot of toys and clothes. Even though I haven't been here that long apparently I have made quite an impression on Santa. I got a lot of presents so I must have been a very good boy!

New Years was pretty quite. I just chilled at home with the parents and (I am almost embarrassed to say) I was in bed by 7:30. LAME!!!! I did wake up 15 minutes before midnight screaming for some reason (maybe teething) so although I didn't really enjoy the new year at least I didn't miss it.

Well I can't wait to see what 2007 has in store. I love you all,

 Ty

I saw the big man this past Friday (Santa Clause). I had a so many things I wanted to ask for but when my moment came I froze up like a warm tongue on a freezing flag pole (ever see a Christmas Story?). The big fella is a lot more intimidating in person. That's okay though, I already feel like I have everything I need so far in my life. I have my Mommy and Daddy, my Grandparents, my godparents, all of my aunties and uncles, and all of you guys. I feel so blessed and fortunate I think I can hold off on my list until next year. If anyone wants to see me and the big fella Click here. I love you all. Merry Christmas!!Laughing
