Happy Easter Everyone! What a great holiday weekend I have had. Mom and Dad were off from work on Friday, so they took me to the Florida Aquarium. It was great----I loved seeing all the fish, and the ducks and stingrays and stuff. Most of all I had a blast running outside in the water area. Later that day I colored easter eggs for the first time. It was awesome. Of course you know I enjoyed it, plopping the eggs into the colored water is just like throwing rocks in the lake. After I cracked a few eggs by chucking them into the water really hard mom and dad asked me to be more gentle. I didn't want the fun to end, so I complied! Saturday night, Nana and Grandpa took me to Chuck-e-Cheese for a night on the town (my parents had a date night). We had so much fun that there are actually no pictures of this outing--we were too busy having fun eating pizza and playing games. This morning I woke up and realized the easter bunny visited my house. I got some really cool goodies in my easter basket, and guess what...........I had real chocolate candy for the first time!! I didn't really like it..................JUST KIDDING!! It was the best thing I have ever tasted. Why didn't my parents let me have it sooner!! Guess what else? The easter bunny hid a bunch of plastic eggs all over our house. What fun it was to find them! In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I asked my parents to hide them two more times.

One of my newest obsessions is BUGS!! I love to look at bugs, try to catch them with a stick, and search for them on walks. I also like to look for flags, whether out for a walk or for a drive, I try to point out each and every flag I see. I also really like to play the harmonica and play with whistles. I am a one man band! I also still like to point out colors, shapes and letters every chance I get. At nightime I love to sing twinkle twinkle little star, along with my parents. They say it's so sweet and cute that they have a hard time putting me to bed! Haha, all part of my master plan to stay up later!!

Well, I better get going. Time for my nap. I have to be well rested for this afternoon-----the family is coming over for a cookout.

Love to you all! Catch ya later!

What's up!

The newest pictures I added to my website are a tribute to the things I love to do most these days..........painting/coloring, and throwing rocks (or anything I can get my hands on) into any body of water I can find. Of course I still like to hang out at the park with my friends, fly a kite, slide on slides, swing and dance! I am obsessed with bubbles and love to go in the front yard and blow them. And now that I can do it myself, I really can't get enough.

I am really talking up a storm lately, saying two and three word sentences. I also like to count, and point out anything shaped like a circle. I also like to sing (even though my mom and dad have no idea what I am singing) and I love to read to myself. Mom and Dad love it when I grab a book, sit down and start talking gibberish. Oh yeah, and I can't believe I am going to admit this, but I LOVE listening to Shakira when we drive in my Daddy's car (for those of you don't know she is a latina singer). My dad (not my mom) has the CD and I only want to hear one song over and over and over. To top it off, it's the spanish version. Drives my mom crazy!!!  But hey, it makes me happy!

I hope you enjoy the new pictures. Talk to you all soon.

Love ya,

Ty

Hi everyone. Just a quick little update......

Today I am 20 months old!! Can you believe it, in just four short months I will be 2 years old. Shhhhhhh, don't tell my Mom and Dad though, they already think I am growing up way too fast. Let's see, I have been a busy little boy as usual. A few weeks ago my Nana and I started going to some fun play groups at the Largo Rec Center. Every Tuesday we go to Play Pals which is so neat, they have all kinds of fun toys to play with, we sing and dance, and even pull out a parachute and pop tennis balls on it.  On Fridays we go to "Messes and Masterpieces", this is where I get to have a blast painting, coloring and doing art projects. Last week, with my hands and clothes covered in paint, I decided to let my Nana know how much I appreciate her by giving her a big hug. Now Nana's clothes can be considered on of my masterpieces!!! Next week we are going to add another group called "Music and Motion". Should be fun!

I am learning all kinds of new stuff everyday. I love to count to ten by myself, I have learned some letters and can point them out, I know several colors, and I will repeat pretty much anything I hear (so be careful what you say around me!). I like to dance to the hip hop version of the electric slide, and I LOVE to sing along to music. A few of my new phrases are "How are You?", "I fall down", "I do it", "Come on", "There you go", and  "Read it".

Check out my new pictures and the video of my silly antics!

Love to everyone!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Check out the latest picutres from my trip to see Nikki, Pete and Mia in Minnesota. After I adjusted to the chilly weather and my new surroundings (and after several days of no naps and sleepless nights) I had a great time visiting my friends. At first I wasn't very fond of having to put on layer upon layer of clothes to go outside. But once I realized that I had to get bundled up to be aloud out, I gave in and didn't put up too much of a fuss. Once outside I was good for a few minutes, but then was ready to go inside to get warm. Us Floridians have low tolerance for the cold ya know. While we were there we went to the Children's Museum, sledding and visited with Nikki's family.

About halfway through the trip I became very interested to know where Pete was at all times. Whenever he would leave the room I would say Bye-Bye Pete, or would call out his name in hopes to find out where he was. Some could say I was kissing up to my future father-in-law, but really, I just think he's fun to be around!

Oh yea, and I went on a plane for the first time. Mom and Dad said I did a good job , even though I was a bit antsy at times.

Thank you to Nikki and Pete for letting us stay with you. We had a great time and I miss you already!! And thanks to Mia for letting me use your room, and for sharing your toys and watching videos with me. You are a good friend.........and if we ever get married, we have to live in Florida, cuz as you found out, I can't deal with the cold weather that well!

Love to everyone!

Ty

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Well, Santa came to visit last night and boy oh boy did he bring me a lot of neat gifts. I must have been a very good boy this year! I woke up this morning and there was a stocking full of toys in my crib!! Mom and Dad had to show me what to do with it though.I spent the morning with family and friends having breakfast and playing with toys. It was so much fun! I really wasn't too interested in opening up the actual packages, but once they were open, I had a field day!

Oh yeah, and last week I went to the mall to see Santa. He was on a break to feed his reindeer so I didn't get to see him. Can you believe that!! But, later in the week he visited my friend Hannah's house when I was there. I didn't want to sit in his lap, but was willing to give him a high five.

This evening we are going to Great Nana's for dinner. Then tomorrow we are heading to Minnesota to visit our friends. It will be my first plane ride EVER! Mom and Dad say to cross your fingers for them!! They also said something else about needing to heavily medicate before the trip. Them or me!!??

Come back next week to check out pictures of me in the snow with my far away friend Mia! Have a Happy New Year!

Love you all!

Ty

Christmas is just around the corner and I am so excited!!! I am close to seeing Santa again. Last year I ignored him completely. This year mommy and daddy expect a completely different reaction. So if you are wondering what I want for christmas I have listed a few items below. I am asking for some already opened tissue paper, a box, that cardboard tube from the wrapping paper and maybe some empty packages. Hopefully I have been a good boy this year. Mommy and daddy say I have but I'm not really sure how much pull they have with the big fella.

Love Ty,

Fall is here
posted on 11/06/2007

Well Fall is finally upon us which means time to put up the shorts and short sleeves. HAHAAHAH, yea right!!! This is Florida. That means I wear long sleeves in the morning and short sleeves in the afternoon.

I am very excited for the next couple of weeks. Thanksgiving is right around the corner which means I will be able to eat tons of crackers and cheese (no offense to you Turkey lovers out there but I don't eat meat)... I have family coming down from up north so I am excited about that. To top it off Christmas is right around the corner so I will be seeing the big fella shortly. Last year i completely ignored him. This year I am anticipating a TOTAL FREAK OUT!!! I am sure mommy and daddy will be there to document the situation. Well that's all for now. I love you all,

Ty
