Howdy everyone! I just got done posting pictures from August. What a fun month it was too, full of parties and activities. I went to my buddy Conor's 2nd birthday party, I went on vacation to the Keys (more on that in a minute), I went bowling for the first time and my good pal Annabelle had her 2nd birthday party (she officially turned 2 on Sept 2nd).
So, my Keys trip was cut a little short thanks to Tropical Storm Faye-boooooo! We were evacuated after our first week. Up until that point though we had a fabolous time! As my mom thought, I did need a bribe for my first boat ride of the summer but once I got the hang of being on the boat there was no stopping me. I couldn't get enough of it and kept asking for my Grandpa to go "more faster!". We found this great little sandbar to hang out at in the mornings. When the tide was low it was pefect for walking around, digging for shells and playing on the little bit of exposed sand. I slept in a pull out bed in the same room as mom and dad, so when I would wake up (as soon as the first crack of light hit the windows) I would see my dad soundly sleeping and wake him up by saying "LETS GO SAWUMMING". I couldn't wait to start each and every day! I went to go feed the big tarpon at Robbies and my mom was so surpised when I dug right in to the bucket of dead fish to toss them in the water. Only 2 years old and I have got the hang of the Keys life for sure! I made fast friends with the lobster Dad, Mom and Grandpa caught. I would wave and say hi to them in my cutest voice ever. It sure did make my mom guilty to rip their heads off and clean their tails. As she tossed the head back in the water she told me that she was letting them go back, but I know better, I saw the other half of them on the dinner table that night! A special thanks to Nana and Grandpa for making our vacation possible!
Well, I guess that's about it for now. In about a week I am heading up to Tennessee for another vacation. We are going to stop for a quick visit with Grandma and Grandpa who moved there last month then we are meeting up with my girl Mia and her family. I can't wait to see the mountains and go hiking!
Catch you all later!
Love,
Ty

What a fun summer I have had, filled with trips to the zoo, the park, the beach, swimming. The best is yet to come too, this weekend we are heading south for our annual keys vacation. Oh boy oh boy!! I sure can't get enough of the water, I could swim all day if my parents let me. So this will be the perfect vacation for me. Maybe I will even like the boat this year. Only time will tell. I heard my mom say that atleast I am easier to bribe now, and that maybe a lollipop will coax me into a lifejacket. Since I am in on her little secret I think maybe I will hold out for cake, or better yet, a pony..... then we will talk
My Nana and Granpda take me swimming in their pool almost every day of the week. I am really getting good and can swim width wise across the pool without any help at all. I also like to let myself sink under sometimes, and just look around underwater.
On the 4th of July I went to see fireworks for the first time. As soon as the first one went up, I must say I got a little panicked. I froze with fear and was glued to my mom's lap. As soon as she realized that I was quite nervous, she threw a towel over my head and let me play peek-a-boo with the fireworks. Eventually I started to like it, and of course over the next few days all I could talk about was "Fireworks.......up in the sky....BOOM BOOM"!
This last weekend we had a going away party for Grandma Ferrazano and Grandpa Joe. They are moving to Tennessee next week. I am so excited for them and the fun adventure they are going to have, but I sure will miss them. Cool thing is now we will have somewhere new to visit. Oh yeah, and the best news yet-----at the party they surprised us by telling us they got married. YEAH!!! Everyone is so happy for them!
My good friend Mia turns two at the end of this month. I am sad I can't party it up with her but I am so excited to see her in September. So a quick shout out to Mia. I love you and hope you and have a Happy Birthday!
Well that's about it for my update. I will check back at the end of the month to post pictures from my vacation.

These last few months sure have been busy. I turned two, had not one but TWO birthday parties (I wonder if I will have 3 parties when I turn three??), moved out of my crib and into a big boy bed, and finished up my swimming lessons.
I am talking up a storm now and using full sentences. I made mommy laugh the other day as I told her to "stay right there mom, I close door". After months of mom and dad trying to teach me manners I am finally giving in and saying my please and thank yous.....most of the time! I still love bugs, airplanes/helicopters and "helper guys" (firemen, police etc) and am getting really good at kicking a soccer ball and dribbling a basketball. I love to swim and all I want to do is be underwater. My parents keep saying they are waiting for me to grow gills soon. Cool, can't wait for that!
Lately I have developed a bit of a crush on my good friend Samantha. I want to be wherever she is. I pretend to call her on the phone, and sing happy birthday to her when she isn't around (she turned 5 last month---I like older women okay!)
My mom posted some of the highlights from June so check'em out. Hope everyone has a Happy 4th of July. My parents are going to take me to see fireworks for the first time. They are going to take me to a local park to see them, and plan to make a quick get away if I am less than thrilled about the loud booms! Wish us all luck.
See ya at the next update. Love you all!

BREAKING NEWS!!!
Tonight will be my very first time sleeping in a big boy bed! My parents switched out my crib today for my very own toddler bed, complete with Diego sheets and pillow. I was so excited when they put it in my room that I immediately jumped in and pretended to sleep.
When it was night time, my parents read me a few bedtime stories, tucked me in and left the room. You should have seen the look of surprise when I said night night and let them close the door behind them without a fight. Little do they know I quickly got up and went to the door to try to make a break for it. They put one of those kid proof door knobs on though, so I was trapped. Oh well, I just went back to to bed. Only to get up a few mintues later, try the door again, then grab my remote control car! This is going to be fun..........I can play all night long. My parents will probably find me sleeping on the floor when they check on me later. Sweet dreams everyone. Love ya.
Check out the few pictures of me in my bed.
Update from Mom: So far so good. After playing for a little bit, he got in bed (with his head at the wrong end) and feel asleep. He slept all night long and woke at his normal time (7:15ish). No crying, fussing or whining! I was dreading naptime today, thinking that we couldn't possibly be this lucky! Well again, he played with some toys, tried to open the door once, but never cried or called out for us. I just checked on him, and he is laying with his head on his pillow, cuddled with his bear-----sound asleep. Yippee!!!!

Happy Father's Day!!
Today I am dedicating my website to two of my most favorite guys-----my Dad and Grandpa!
To my Dad: Happy Father's Day. Thanks for being such a great Dad. You are always so fun to be with, and you never ever pass up an opportunity to play with me. You are patient with me when I am testing my limits, you are always eager to teach me new things, and you give me the space I need when I am wanting independence. You can make me laugh like no other, you are always there to catch me when I fall, or kiss me when I am sad. I just know that we are going to be the best of friends forever! You are my hero Dad, and I can't wait to grow up just like you!
To my Grandpa: I don't know of many Grandpa's like you- you are truly one of a kind. Not many Granpda's even know who the Backyardigans are- yet not only do you probably know what their names are, you happily watch them with me as I sit on your lap. Not many Grandpas I know are as eager to play with their Grandkids as you are - you will practically break your leg running down the hall to get your swimsuit on to join me in the pool. Not many Grandpas I know will spin a toy until their wrist hurts, or play Frogger countless times, simply from hearing one word---MORE! I love all of the time we spend together, and it is rare for me to go a day without seeing you. That's means alot to me Grandpa. You and I have such fun times together and I look forward to all you have to teach me! You have such love for your family and for life, and it shows in everything you do and everything you are. I can only hope someday to be half the man that you are. I love you will all my heart!
Check out the photos I posted of me and my Grandpa (P.S.-They are better viewed with listening to one of my Grandpa's favorite bands)

Oh boy oh boy, did I just have the best birthday week EVER! On my actual birthday my parents took me to the zoo. I fed birds and giraffes and even touched the goats at the petting zoo. I was also consumed with picking up every stick, leaf and rock in sight. I had the best time in the water play area too. If it wasn't for that pesky nap I needed I could have stayed there all day. That evening some family and friends came over to celebrate with pizza, presents and cake. What a great day it was. But that's not all folks. The following weekend my parents threw a big party for me at the park, complete with a water slide!! Thanks to all of my friends and family who came out to help us celebrate. I sure am a lucky boy to have all of you in my life. Mom and Dad say they are pretty lucky too, to be surrouned by such wonderful people! Life really just couldn't be better. I wasn't able to open up my presents at the park, so I am spreading my birthday out even more by opening a few things each night. I am having lots of fun playing with each toy as I go! I got so many presents that maybe I will be done opening by next week!! .
I want to give a shout out to all of my friends and family living far away that couldn't come celebrate with me. I miss you and think of you often!
Mom is working on updating pictures, but they have taken so many of me over the last 2 years that they have used 100% of the space allowed on the website!! After doing some old picture purging she will download lots of new pictures.
In the meantime, thanks to everyone for making me such a happy boy. Love to you all.

I can't believe another year has gone by and here I sit again, typing up another "this time last year" journal entry.
We will see if I can get through it without getting choked up..........
So this time TWO years ago, I was about 30 minutes into my contractions, still kind of wondering, is it gas or am I really in labor? As I realized that it wasn't the peanut butter and jelly sandwich repeating on me, I was suddenly consumed with fear wondering how on earth was I going to get through the pain, and also wondering if I could call ahead for an epidural Meanwhile, as I was going through all these emotions, fear, pain, wondering if I would be a good mom, there sits Jamie watching the end of War of the Worlds (and letting me squeeze his hand to death during my contractions). I guess he was probably wondering how he would get through the pain as well!
This time two years ago between those contractions we were calling all of our loved ones, letting them know you were about to come join us and make us the happiest people alive! You have no idea how excited everyone was for your pending arrival!
This time two years ago, there sat a freshly painted and decorated room, untouched, just waiting for you to fill it. Not only did you fill the room, you filled our hearts with so much love and laughter and joy.
On the eve of your birthday your dad and I just want to tell you how very much we love you. You have such a wonderful soul and spirit and you brighten each and every day. Can't wait to see what's in store for the future!
Happy Birthday~All our love,
Mom and Dad
Check back soon for the motherload of all updates----to include recent swimming lessons, lots of beach/park trips, and pictures from both birthday parties!

Hi there everyone! Well, beach season is finally here and as you will see from the newest pictures posted, we having been spending quite alot of time there lately. Not only do we meet friends there on the weekend, we have been heading to the beach on Fridays after Mom and Dad get out of work. It is so much fun and a great way to start off our weekend if you ask me! I love to play in the sand, and look for shells and kites. Most of all I love to jog down the beach. I am getting pretty fast---I like try to tire Mom and Dad out with my lightening quick speed! The water is still a bit too nippy for my taste, so I like to play in the tidepools. I won't get too close to the surf just yet- and will run away as waves come near. (Update: we went to the beach today 4-27 and all I wanted to do today was play in the water)
Let's see, what else am I up to these days..............well, I love to hide. When I hear Dad's car pull up from work, I will run to get the blanket and cover myself to surprise him. It doesn't matter where I am or what I am doing, if I hear mom say Daddy's home, I drop what I am doing to hide. It's so much fun! I also like for Mom and Dad to put a sheet over top of my crib, to make a fort for me to hide in. I could play in there for hours! My new favorite songs are Hi-Ho (ya know, from the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) and Superman (a rap song by Soulja Boy- don't ask, it's all my mom's fault!) Quite the spectrum of musical taste though don't you think!
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you my biggest news from the last month. I now go pee pee on the potty. I am getting pretty good at it! When I go I get a single M&M (I prefer to call them M's). Boy do I savor that M&m too. First I walk around with it firmly planted between my fingers (they are wrong by the way, they do melt in your hand). Then I walk around and get lovely chocolate color on the furniture. Once the damage has been done, I will finally eat the M&M. My parents are amazed that I can actually get three bites out of it!
In the beginning of May I will be having my first real swimming lessons. Someone will be coming out to Nana and Grandpa's pool to teach me. Gotta get ready for the Keys ya know! I want my swimming skills to be in tip top shape!
That's about it for now. Next big update will probably be just after my birthday (or just before if my mom does another "this time two years ago" post). Can you believe I will be two years old soon?! I am growin' up fast people!
Hugs and kisses!
Ty
