Today we had the memorial service to say goodbye to my Gigi who went to heaven last month. Mom and Dad were nervous about me sitting in church for 45 minutes but boy did I surprise everyone! When we got to the church I sang my "God made the sun" song for the Priest. He was so impressed that he asked if I would sing it during the service when he called me up. I was willing....so there I sat....chomping at the bit to get up and sing. I got up in front of the whole church and sang at the top of my lungs (for an example of what I sang, see my video clips). Let me tell you folks, there wasn't a dry eye in the house after that. Everyone applauded (a first at a funeral service I am quite sure). It made everyone so happy and I am sure my Gigi was smiling from Heaven. We all miss you Gigi, but we know you are watching over us. We will visit you in our dreams.

Well folks, my first week of preschool was a success. I loved it! Mom and Dad had a tough time saying goodbye to me on my first day, but they managed to hold it together in front of me. They are such wimps! School was so fun---I did circle time, had snack, played outside, did craft projects. Funny though, during my playground time that first day, I swear I saw a few cars circling the block that looked an awful lot like my Dad and my Nana. Couldn't have been---they would NEVER be checking up on me. Maybe my teachers shouldn't have posted on the door what time we would be on the playground! I have stalkers :)
Well, I better let my mom hop on the computer so she can post the pictures from August...ahem, and July. Tisk Tisk, fallin' behind Mommy!
Check out the pics and new videos posted!

August was a month of ups and downs. My Great Grandma (Gigi as I liked to call her) went to Heaven. I am thankful for the time I had with her and will miss her lots. Even though she is gone, I am lucky to now have her as my guardian angel looking out after me. On the "Up" side, our Keys vacation was very fun, and very much needed for my family! Wednesday is my first day of preschool. I am so excited! Mom and Dad are excited, but nervous. Guess they think their little boy is growing up way too fast. Hopefully it will be a check mark in the "Ups" category for August! I will let you all know how it goes.
Hugs and Kisses.
Ty

Can't believe the month of June came and went so fast. Check out the pictures from our 2nd Annual Father's Day Burger Cook off. My dad had high hopes of coming in first this year, but sad to say he came in 3rd. It's okay Dad, you are still #1 in my book. Earlier in the month I got to go to Samantha's bowling birthday party. It was so fun. Oh yeah, and I also got my very own fishing pole. Mom, Dad and Grandpa took me to the little lake by our house and we tried to catch some fish. We didn't catch anything, but we had a good time anyway. The highlight was Grandpa's dog Lasey jumping in the lake after the ducks. Grandpa yelled at her and I thought that was soooo funny. I guess we can blame her for no fish nibbling that day! Mom said to get used to that, fishing is really just a bunch of sitting around, talking about what spot we should try to cast at next. Let's see, what else did the month of June hold.......I went to the movie theater for the very first time. We went to see the movie UP. I really liked watching a movie on such a big screen. Another great thing this month was Grandma and Grandpa came down for a visit from Tennessee. I was so happy to see them!! I didn't get many pictures of my time with them becasue every chance I got I made Grandma come play with my train set in my room. I wouldn't let anyone else in, and would only come out every so often to say hi, but then it was right back to my room to be with Grandma.
Anyway, have a safe 4th of July. Love you all,
Ty

Late Father's Day Message!!!
My website was down for a few days so I didn't get a chance to shout out to my Dad on Father's Day. Better late than never right.....
Top 10 reasons I love my Dad
#10- He makes me laugh so hard that I snort and can't catch my breath
#9- He is always up for a game of hide and seek, pretend, or racing around the dining room table. He even acts like he can't find me when my hiding spot is so obvious, and he sometimes lets me win the race
#8- When I am sick in bed with a fever, he sleeps on my floor so he can be right there when I need him. Not that he gets much sleep out of the deal!
#7- He lets me ride on his shoulders when my legs are too tired, even though he sprained his neck (playing at the bounce place at my birthday party)
#6- He makes the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich this side of the Mississippi....wait, where is the Mississippi?
#5- He reads me the best bedtime stories and is a great at snuggling when it's time to go to sleep
#4- He makes Mommy roll her eyes at the bad habits he teaches me--that's funny!
#3- He gives me the best hugs when I am sad and always smothers me with kisses
#2- He always let's me help him with projects around the house even when it makes him take twice as long to finish
#1- He is my hero! He treats me with so much love and respect and never talks to me in a way he would want to be talked to himself. He always puts me first above anything else.
Happy Father's Day Dad! Thanks for being someone I look up to, someone I have fun with, and someone I can count on no matter what.

I have just one word to sum up the month of May.............AWESOME!!!
What fun I had this month. I celebrated my 3rd birthday at Disney World with my friends Amanda, Dylan, Annabelle, Matt, Melissa, Daniel, and Nikki, Pete and Mia. It was magical ! Then a few days later I had a birthday party at the Bounce place with all of my other friends. Nikki, Pete and Mia stayed with us for the week of my birthday and besides my party and Disney, we hit the beach, the zoo and the park. Mia and I really enjoyed playing with each other all week (check out the video of us holding hands as we strolled in the park....I am in love!). But now I miss her a lot. I ask about her almost everyday. The other day I asked my mom if Mia was coming over to play. My mom informed me that Mia was home in Minnesota. I responded by saying, mmmmmm, she's having SODA, yummy! Not sure why my mom cracked up---something I said must have been pretty funny.
That's about it for now. This weekend is Father's Day and we are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Father's Day burger cook off/pool party. Can't wait!

This time 3 years ago……. Wow, 3 years…..amazing how quickly time has flown by! My “this time last year” post is coming a little early. Since we have company in town (wooohoooo!) I want to be sure to get this in….
This time 3 years ago, this little baby inside of me was kicking my ribs and making it very difficult for me to catch my breath. 3 years later the little guy is still taking my breath away!!
So Ty- This time 3 years ago we were wondering what you would look like and what your personality would be. Safe to say for now those answers are, you look like a mini version of your dad and your personality is so many things wrapped into one. You are such a sweet, loving kid, but you are super goofy too (gee, wonder who you got that from??). You are inquisitive and love to learn and explore. You make us laugh, no, crack up, on a daily basis and we have so much fun being around you.
This time 3 years ago we wondered what life would be like with you……now we can’t even remember or imagine our lives before you got here.
This time 3 years ago I was carrying you around in my belly…..and now we carry you around in our hearts! You are our shining star and getting the see the world through your eyes is such a precious gift. Happy Birthday Ty!!!
All our love, Mom and Dad
Check out the newest photo album with a look back over the years set to music- sniff, sniff :)

A poem for Mommy By Tyler Thomas:
You always spend time with me, always working on keeping me moving and keeping me fit.
I love how I make you laugh when I say little phrases like “look mommy, I gexst it”…
Mommy, I love you more than anything I have in my life, more than toys or even my bear.
Anytime I need something I can count on you mommy. I know you will be there.
What I love the most about you mommy is what most people don’t even see.
I love you most for the way you always show just how much you love me.
The way your eyes light up with love every time I walk into your view.
Mommy, you make me feel so special and for that I will always love you.
So thank you for being my mommy and for being so cool
Oh, and thanks for marrying daddy, he’s pretty cool too…
SNAIL!!!
