Dr. Barron said that he had a treat when I was there today. I opened my mouth really big so that he could see my teeth. And I sat very still so that he could listen to my heart and look in my ears. He said I'm growing very well and I will probably be as tall as my daddy when I grow up! I got one shot today and was a very big boy. I don't have to get anymore vaccinations until I'm ready to go to Kindergarten. My doctor visit went very well and I liked the Mickey Mouse picture in the room!

Today was my 18 month check-up. Apparently someone measured me wrong last visit because I lost an inch this time...and we measured twice to make sure. No one was really concerned since I am such a wiggle worm. I probably just moved too much last time. The doctor said I was growing and developing very good. He was very impressed with my large vocabulary and said that I will probably have a high IQ! The doctor visits still make me scared because I know I have to get shots. Hopefully I will get past that soon.

Today was my 15 month check-up...even though I'm 16 months tomorrow. With all the holidays at the end of the year, the doctor was booked until now. He said I was growing good and I was a very good boy. There was a lady with him learning and observing. She was very nice and she let me look at her stethoscope while the doctor checked me out. My ear infection is finally gone after three rounds of medicine. I got one shot and only cried for a minute. I have 4 teeth on top and 2 teeth on bottom now. I don't eat much baby food anymore. I really like the gerber graduates...they are just right for me!

09/11/2007	20 lbs. 4 oz.	30 in.
I went for my 12 month check-up today on my Birthday! I'm big enough now to turn my carseat facing forward. I've got 4 teeth now so I'm going to start to try more table food. I can drink whole milk instead of formula. I had to have some blood taken, but I was a big boy and didn't cry. Then I got two shots and couldn't help but cry. The nurses and doctors were very impressed at how good I acted while we were there. The doctor says I'm growing good and healthy!

Today I went for my 9 month check-up! The doctor says that I'm growing good. Mom held me while I got a shot in each leg. I did cry a little. The doc says that I should slowly start learning how to drink from a cup instead of my bottle now. I can't wait to try!

03/15/2007	16 lbs. 2 oz.	28 in.
Today I went to the doctor for my six month check-up. Mom says I am such a big boy now. The doc said that I probably need to eat more formula. Mom thinks that's because I constantly move and work off everything I eat. He also suggested that I start some vitamins to get more iron. I got the good shot by mouth again. I also got my finger pricked and didn't shed a tear. I only had three shots today and I didn't even cry until the second one.

This was my four month check-up. I got the tasty oral shot again as well as two in each leg. This time dad and I were pros. I only cried for a minute and dad gave me a hug and kiss!

11/16/2006	11 lbs. 4 oz.	23 3/4 in.
Today was my two month check up and doc says I'm still growing great! I got an oral shot today and it tasted really good. I ate every drop! Then I had to get four shots...two in each leg. I cried for a few minutes and dad even shed a tear with me. Mom told us both that it was ok and I stopped crying. Boy are we glad she was there to give us a big hug

10/12/2006	8 lbs. 10 oz.	21 1/4 in.
I went for my one month check-up and the doc says I'm doing great! I did get a shot today but it only hurt for a second and mom was right there to give me a big hug.

I had a great time helping Mommy make cookies! Tonight I helped stir the dough and tomorrow I get to help cut out the cookies and bake them!

Baby Grayson's first time using the potty was on 09/25/2008
I went tee-tee in the potty at Nana's house on Thursday the 25th! I went poo-poo in the potty at Nana's house on Saturday the 27th! Mommy was so proud and we called daddy to tell him because he was in St. Louis.

Grayson's first trip to the Georgia Aquarium was 04/12/2008
We went to visit Dede and Pop this weekend. We all went to the aquarium on Saturday. I got to see so many fish and some penguins! There was so much to see and so many kids and I had a blast. Mom took me down a big whale slide and I even got to touch some of the water. I didn't get to actually pet the animals because mom was afraid I would grab them and get hurt. Before we left I picked out a stuffed sea turtle to take home! What a great day!!!

Grayson's first trip to the dentist was 02/21/2008
I was very scared when mom laid me down in the chair. I cried the whole time until I got a balloon and new toothbrush. The dentist said my teeth looked good though I might have to have some stuff done way in the future. She also gave mom some tips on how to keep my teeth healthy!

Grayson's first snow day was 01/19/2008
I had so much fun playing in the snow. There wasn't much but I liked running around in the snow.

Thanksgiving Day at Dede and Pop's house! I rolled from my back to my stomach. And then after we got back home I rolled from my stomach to my back. It takes me a while but I can make it over!

The fun part is that my middle name is also my Nana's maiden name. How cool is that! And for those who are wondering, my name did originate from the street we live on. As mom and dad were joking about different street names they decided that they really liked the name Grayson. And I couldn't agree more!
