I havent been feeling well this week and my work is throwing me a baby shower Friday so I changed my doctors visit to today (Thursday). I lost 4 pounds due to my cold which was nice to hear!!! But he also told me I have gestational hypertension which could be very dangerous if not taken care of. Im suppose to take it very easy and put my feet up as much as possible. He doesnt want me going to work because it could be a stress factor. So Im basically on bedrest but not a strict bedrest. He explained to me all the things that could go wrong if I dont take care of myself and take it easy. For example...He might have to induce labor early, I could have a stroke or I could lose Madison. He says its very serious and I need my rest. It was hard to hear this and I dont think it has really set in yet. I have to go for an ultrasound on Monday to make sure Madison is developing ok. I am so thrilled I get to see her again!! I know everything is going to be ok. This is a mini vacation for me until she arrives! Im just trying to stay positive and not worry about it.
Im really excited for my work baby shower Friday and the baby shower Kyle and my two moms are throwing me on Saturday!!! I cant wait!! Everyone is so thoughful and caring!
