First Vacation

Last week Madison embarked on her first long trip! My parents and my Granny(my dad's mom) took Madison with them to see my Grandma (my mom's mom) in Nebraska. They were gone for 9 days!!!! They said Madison was absolutely perfect and had a blast meeting all my Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. They purchased a car dvd player to keep her occupied on the long car ride and she loved it. Joshua and I missed her so very much while she was away. Joshua was off the entire time she was gone, so we did a lot of sitting around and relaxing.
Joshua's company had a meeting over the 4th weekend at his bosses beach house in Crystal beach, so we drove down to Houston Wednesday, and we were lucky to get some amazing seats to the Astros game! Really amazing seats! Front row next to the Diamond club! I had so much fun cheering on the players as they warmed up to bat just feet away from me. I also took tons of pictures! Then we left Thursday afternoon to go to the beach house. We had so much watching all the people on the beach. It was just like Mardi Gras! We picked up Madison from Nana's on Sunday and I was so happy to see her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was so grown up and big!!!! We are so happy to have her back.
Thanks to my parents and Nana for watching Madison. You guys are so good to us. We truly do have the best family in the world. We love you guys!
