5 Months

Madison has come such a long way in just a 5 months! Her check up is on Thursday. I'm anxious to see her height and weight.

She is still teething. She gets these little "rage" outbursts where she gets really tense and tries to bite anything in site (she loves to bite noses! ha). I had no idea some one so tiny could drool sooooo much. It's mind blowing! We have to constantly keep a bib on her or change her clothes 3 times a day! She has a fussy spell every now and then, but I cant complain. We cant wait for her teeth to show up. We feel so sorry for the pain she is going through.

Madison LOVES to sit up. We have to help her get into the sitting position, but once we do, she loves to play with her toys. She can balance herself really well. She is still in the first stages of crawling. She does a lot of "swimming" on the floor. She can scoot herself a little ways, but she hasn't figured out she has to hold herself up to really get moving. We are working with her! She can stand up by herself when she holds on to furniture, with our assistance of course! She really enjoys that as well.

She gets very very vocal at times. We love hearing her! We both swear she can say hi back to us!!! I say Da Da to her everyday all day and she just smiles really big at me.

She still is crazy about the show Yo Gabba Gabba. She has a crush on Dj Lance Rock. She smiles so big at him when he talks. It's the cutest thing!

She is getting very mischievous!! She tries to grab everything and anything in site. She constantly tries to get the remote and our cell phones.

She loves eating her baby food. She opens her moth as soon as she sees her spoon. It's so adorable to watch her eat. We have tried numerous times to give her juices and pedialyte but she refuses to have anything to do with them. We have tried tons of different flavors and different ways to get her to drink them but she wont even let them touch her lips! It's the weirdest thing. We just cant understand why she wont try them. Oh well...hopefully she will come around!

Maybe try watering down some apple juice for Madison. That's the only way Karys will take hers. Otherwise she still just prefers water - which I guess is better for her so who knows! I love all the updates and pictures!!!
