Since briefly looking after Ben a few weeks ago now, I have wondered how he, and his family have been getting on. The day I looked after him we were able to switch back to a "normal" ventilator, a step in the right direction, and I hoped that he had continued to do so. I have had some time off, and tonight I came to think of you, the Marshall family, and remembered about this website. All I knew was that it ended in /babybailey, but after a quick Google search, here I am! I am pleased to read from the comments left here that you have got Ben home safe and well. Thank you for sharing with me the lovely scrap book made by your friend containing precious memories of Bailey, I hope to start a scrap book of my own soon although with perhaps less precious content. I hope that you have a smoother ride of things from now on, and that Ben's health continues to improve. This is a lovely website, and very moving. With best wishes to you all, Nicola x

Hello wee man Ben, baby Bailey's wee brother the last time I popped in to see you, you were off the ventilator and having some breathing help from the CPAP machine. You looked like you were doing really well. I love the web site but it did make me very sad and want to cry at all the touching words and poems. I shall never forget you and baby bailey. Live life to the full as it is so precious.

I came across this beautiful site and a story of a little solider called Bailey from the SANDS website. I have been crying smiling and then crying some more as I read this very moving and touching journal. I lost my precious son Alfonso full term in June 06. I can feel your pain and empathise with all your emotions and thoughts. Losing a child will be the worst thing I will ever experience. Your son Bailey is simply beautiful and I shall never forget your site that you have proudly dedicated to him. I shall also pray for his little brother Ben. I am positive that Bailey is near him and doing all he can to make him better. May God bless all of you. You are in my thoughts.

I never knew Bailey but have heard lots of stories regarding his brave battle with life. I am now caring for Ben and he also is a very strong boy, both mum and dad are very brave, loving parents and I wish them all the best of luck in their life with their wonderful family. They truly do deserve the best. You are in my thoughts.
